- Romeo's name fits him! Lover boy is looking for a new home, possibly with a mate or other birds to socialize with. Romeo has been with our family for over ten years now (he is 18 years old). He is sweet and tame. Comfortable around the house or on your shoulder outside, he loves to be with his people. He loves watching movies on the couch, eating at the table, snuggling in bed, and car rides. Showers are a big favorite! Gets along with kids, dogs, and cats. Has not been around birds in our home, but reported to have had a mate previously. Romeo has traveled frequently (with our military family) and participated in Career Days at elementary and middle schools. Has also helped train new veterinary personnel to safely handle birds.
Prospective buyer must provide veterinary reference, and will be responsible for shipping, although I will consider delivery within 300 miles. Sale will include large cage with bowls and perches and acrylic travel cage. More pictures/videos available on email request.
