- Bonded, and bred Blue and Gold Macaws. Male - Rio (4 years old) Female - Lola (10 years old) They're both nesting, male is very protective of the nest. She's drinking lots of water and on a healthy diet, not a fan of you coming around their nest at the moment but they can be handled and are pretty tame. Both are fully flighted.
