A prominent Psittacine Propagation & Research Facility has produced the world's first offspring from a Golden Parakeet (Conure), (captive bred) and
a Blue-headed Macaw (female, 3rd generation from this facility). This facility is willing to sell either of the two for $50,000. (To be clear, that is $50,000 each.)
No permit is required.
The buyer must agree to participate in genetic research which has been planned.
