- Hello. I have a handfed tame male bourke parakeet for sale. He steps up, Flys back to his cage when out, and sits on shoulder. He does enjoy fly time and unfortunately, because I have cats, that makes him a target. He sings a lovely song at sunset and sunrise and attempts to mimic when whistled at. He does seem to prefer male humans to female humans. He may do best in an aviary or in a home where he can get daily fly time. I'm sure he will make someone a great companion.
