We have 2 baby Galah Cockatoo aka Rose Breasted Cockatoo available for new homes. Both the babies are 7 weeks old now. We are currently hand feeding the babies. You can pick a baby anytime now. They need to be hand-feed 2X a day for another two weeks (I will provide you with all the hand-feeding instructions in a folder with the baby). The purpose of hand-feeding a baby bird is so he/she can bond with you as a pet. :)
If you need us to wean (eating on its own) the baby for you before pick up, let us know and we can do that for you. Just contact us and ask! :)
About Galah Cockatoos:
Galah Cockatoos are wonderful and energetic pets. They are very smart and enjoy human company, loving to learn new tricks and impress their owner. These birds have an affectionate and bubbly personality and are extremely popular as pets. In addition, being well adapted to the dry conditions of central Australia, the Galah is a hardy and robust bird that adjusts well to climatic changes. Last but not least, we should not forget that these birds are excellent talkers and Pink and Grey in color which, makes them extremely beautiful birds.
Everything listed below will be provided with a purchase of the baby:
1) Travel Box/Carrier
2) A hand-feeding syringe.
3) Care and Feeding instruction folder. We will also show you how to hand feed a baby in person.
4) Millet Spray
5) A few other instructions so you take home your baby bird home safely and are able to take care of him/her.
6) Baby Hatch Certificate.
If you'd like to adopt a baby or reserve one with a deposit ($100), feel free to contact us and we will be more than happy to assist you. If we miss your call, leave us a message and we'll get back to you ASAP.
We DO NOT ship our birds. All our birds are for local pick up only.
