Surgically sexed Greenwing Macaw Pair

Surgically sexed male/female pair of Greenwing Macaws. Male is approx. 11 years old and female is approx. 9 years old. Have laid one clutch of 3 eggs for me but none were fertile. I have since removed their nestbox as I do not wish to breed.

These two were sold to me last year as pet quality/friendly however it is quite clear that they really do not wish to be pets and would rather focus on being a bonded breeding pair. Male might have potential to be friendly again, he does say a few words and seems to want to be friendly at times, but his desire to "protect" his mate overrule that desire. Female is quite hormonal and cage aggressive.

Eating a healthy diet of pellets (mixture of Roudybush and Zupreem) and Bountiful Harvest (dried fruit/veggie mixture) as well as fresh fruits/veggies daily and a few in-shell nuts each day.

Rather quiet pair (for macaws). Even though they are not friendly/pet quality they are a lovely pair; I wish I could keep them but sadly my job situation is changing and I find I must find a good home for them.

Asking $1800 OBO for the pair. Located in central Michigan; local pick up only or may drive to meet within reasonable distance. Sorry, cannot ship.
