We have a rainbow lorikeet and a slender billed cockatoo who are in search of there new life companions. They have been hand raised and socialized in a home setting and would do best in a place where they will be a big part in the family.

Both birds love being outside in the garden both in there cages and out and love to ride around town.

The cockatoo is an amazingly smart bird that is already talking a lot, wearing a harness, and loves to dance around and is most comfortable on the floor. Slender Billed Cockatoos are designed for digging for tubers, so I encourage providing bird safe tubers along with his weaning diet of Nuts and Seeds, Blessings Soak and Sprout (cooked and sprouted), Tops Pellets, Fruits and Veggies, and fresh cuttings from the garden.

The rainbow lorikeet is very playful and outgoing. She already has an impressive vocabulary, as well as list of sounds she mimics. She is very playful and enjoys time playing on the bed and ground "wrestling". She loves hopping around the room from person to person giving kisses. They do eat a specialized nectar and fruit diet, but food is readily available online if it is not available to you locally. I prefer to use Nekton, but also have used Blessings and am very pleased with their products as well.

I have put a lot of time otni these birds and want to see them go to the best homes, where they are just like a sibling or child to their family. Both of these birds are not pets for the faint of heart, but with the right person, these birds will make amazing lifelong companions.

We are asking $2,200 obo for the cockatoo, and $650 obo for the lorikeet. We are open to working with the right person.

The money from these birds helps us continue our hobby in Aviculture, and will help fund my hopes to one day join and start new Cooperative Breeding Programs through the American Federation of Aviculture and work on maintaining and breeding critically endangered species which are still have a chance through captive breeding programs like these.

*Neither birds listed are IUCN Least Concerned and are captive bred birds who were bred and hand raised for the purpose of companionship.

If you are interested please contact me first via text message or email, because of my school and work schedule. I can answer any questions and send videos and more picture. We can also set up a time to talk on the phone.
