Egg laying pair of Black Headed Caiques. I raised these birds from unrelated pairs and have had them set up for the last two years. They do not seem to be happy here. The hen has laid for me but both birds are very easily distracted by other birds, etc. I think that the way they are set up now might work but I am at a point with other breeding projects where I could use some more cash flow. Someone with a quiet place to set these beautiful birds up should be very successful. Their parents were great producers and these are young birds. I can look it up but I think they are 6 years old.
