Baby Swainson's Blue Mountain Lorikeet
Hand-fed and now weaned
This baby was hatched on 12/24/19. Extremely sweet, this Lorikeet chick will make one lucky person or family a very special pet.
Lorikeets come from Australia and Indonesia. They are known as Nectar feeders, as they don't eat seed as most parrots, they feed on pollen nectar and fruit. In captivity they do well on a commercially prepared Nectar which is mixed with water and fresh fruit. If you're looking for a tame baby Parrot, this just may be it!
