White Bellied Caiques AKA Apricot Headed Caiques
Both DNA Sexed Males. Male #1 is 18 years old (banded). Male #2 is approximately 6 years old (not banded) and slightly plucked on the chest but it has grown back in. All toes and nails are intact on both. I acquired them as a pair and after a few months of them mating constantly but never laying any eggs I became suspicious. Sure enough both turned out to be male. I can provide the DNA papers. I bought them for breeding but both are remarkably tame. Took a little warming up to but both are very sweet, love to play around, and are always trying to feed each other and trying to feed me as well. They could easily be pets or breeders, or possibly both. If you’ve been looking to breed caiques here is your chance to pick up one half of your pair. Please email for more details.
