Baby Moustache Parakeet (Psittacula alexandri) Available! Moustache Parakeets can make great companions to both beginner bird owners or those who have more bird experience. They can be fantastic talkers if you work with them, but more importantly, they are very social and affectionate. Moustache Parakeets are a great size, they are very playful and they enjoy being out of the cage and with their human companion. Ideally, the minimum cage size for this bird would be 25’’ long, 21’’ wide and 29’’ high with ½’’ wire spacing. At Parrot Stars we focus on education, nutrition, and conservation.
