Lory is a 2021 hatch DNAed female Weber's Lorikeet. This is a rarer type of lorikeet in captivity. She is very playful and loves to be with me and see all what I am doing. She loves to be petted and does talk and mimic. Lory does get along great with other birds. She likes to play with them and just to cuddle next to them. She is out on a playstand during the day and only in her cage at night or if I am not home. I have her initial purchase paperwork which has her avian disease testing results and her DNA certificate from Avian Biotech to go with her.
Lorikeets do need a nectar diet which causes their poop to be watery. The best 'cage' I have found for lorikeets is a glass reptile enclosure. But a regular bird cage will be fine also. Lorikeets will play with foot toys and roll and play on their back. Very comical to watch!
$1,000.
