Greater Vasa Parrots

Greater Vasa Parrots are endemic to Madagascar and the Comoros. In the US they are rare in captivity and there are very few breeding pairs established. Greater Vasa Parrots, in addition to their unusual black colored plumage, have some very unusual breeding behavior. They make outstanding pets, and become very devoted to their keeper.
