Female Greenwing

Greenwing Macaw for adoption. She is not agressive but is not hand tame. She is very gentle when taking treats and loves to watch tv. She is used to a step-up stick but we have been working on getting her to step up. We do not have a for sure age as we rescued her last year, but the vet estimates about 5-10 years. She was terrified of cages when we first got her, and the cage issue improved 100% and is happy to sit inside/on top although still not sure about being locked in. She is quite the talker! And is by far the best behaved I've ever seen as far as staying in her space and not being destructive! We feel she would be best suited for either a single bird home, with someone willing to put in the time, or a home with a male companion. The bird only, and price is definitely negotiable to the right home!
