DNA sexing results will be in today. Checked by personal vet. last week and all is well. Very gentle, interactive and already saying "hi", "hello", and working on "step up". I am not a professional and this is a hobby. I have socialized and raised over 46 different species spanning the last 20 years, so I will be able to answer your questions and I enjoy talking parrots, so feel comfortable asking them. I had a bit of time off as I await a medical license transfer and I thought I would raise a few species I've enjoyed a good deal.
He/She is presently called "coffee" as I play with him or her during my morning coffee. :-) (I'm creative like that.) Going to be a beautiful bird - many would call a Chaco, but more than likely an intermediate between the subspecies - most are, but if you've seen a "Chaco" this is size, color and type. Diet is solid and raised with a dog and socialized very well, working on potty training, knows step up, and very interactive bird. Presently on two feedings per day, and I don't rush Amazons - you can push them, but its taxing on them and they need a stable start to maximize their pet potential.
Price is $1050 and I can ship for the cost of shipping. Really nice BFA - one of the most gifted young talkers I've ever raised.
