Senegal Parrot

Charley, born on 2002, lived with a nice couple for his first 5 years. They tamed him and taught him how to talk. When they tired of his "calls" so they could get more sleep, we bought him and made him a family member for the last 7 years. He learned more words...he says words like: turkey, where's Daddy? look at me! hey baby, bye-bye, night night. He laughs, sneezes, coughs and whistles the Andy Griffith theme song. He will come out of his cage and sit on your hand or shoulder...forever if he could. May bite if startled. Charley does not like to fly but is used to having cat friends around. My son moved back home with us from the Air Force and now Charley "calls" too much because he has an unexplainable fondness for him. If you are interested in having Charley as a new family member, he will adjust quite well. He even travels well. He is healthy, eats pellets and most foods you offer him. Senegals live 20-30 years.
