My Senegal pair is currently on 5 eggs! The first egg has just hatched and I am now accepting deposits. $100 reserves your chick and you will then receive weekly updates, including photos and video. Current photos are of previous chicks from the same parents.
Well socialized, hand raised Senegals have very friendly personalities and are known to make extraordinary pets. They are comical, entertaining, colorful, relatively small, and have the ability to talk and mimic, although they tend to be considerably more quiet than many other parrot species. To produce sweet, friendly chicks I always hand raise my chicks in my home where they get lots of love and attention. They are introduced to kids, other pets, all kinds of toys and a variety of people. I also strive to foster confidence in my chicks by allowing them plenty of fly time before their first wing trim. My chicks to wean on their own time, so I cannot guarantee a specific wean date.
$100 is due when you reserve your chick. The balance of $350 is due at time of pick up or shipping. My price of $450 includes DNA sexing; if you have a preference for the sex of your chick, I will do my best to accommodate you. I can ship via Delta airlines out of Pensacola, weather permitting; buyer is responsible for shipping fees (usually around $150) plus a $25 crate fee. I reserve the right to decide if the weather conditions are safe enough to ship chicks.
