We are looking to re-home our Scarlet Macaw. He is about 4 to 5 years old. This Scarlet is not loud but does like when someone is home.He only starts to yell if he wants/needs more food. I will not let him go to be left alone all day unless you are looking to pair him with another bird for breeding. He does pluck his feathers but is not totally naked. He is tame but not to everyone & does not always like to be held. He talks when he wants to & would probably make a great breeder. Not for a household with small children. If you know of anyone that can use him for breeding please pass the word on. We are asking 600.00 to insure he is well taken care of & loved. PS: & To be 100% sure he is a male you would need to DNA him. Im only going by what I was told and Ive had him about 1 year
