2 Ruby (Green Wing x Scarlet) Macaw babies available at Maria's Birds & Exotics. Currently 3 wks old. Babies are being hand fed and have been since 2 wks of age. They will wean onto a Pelleted & fresh food diet at about 18-20 wks of age. My babies are socialized very well to help make them healthy, happy birds for years & years! They're raised around kids & common household pets. We have a very busy house so they are used to most things their new house will have to offer :) We offer socialization groups once to twice weekly so that you can spend time and bond with your baby as she/he grows. All babies are DNA sexed before they leave. Babies also come with a health guarantee. We have customer & vet references.

I do offer payment plans & financing plans to help convenience the buyer. I also offer package deals if you are in need of a new cage for your new baby! It includes cage of the buyers choice, 3 toys, a perch and a bag of food. I also have a variety of play stands that can be purchased as well. I'm located in Wheatfield, NY but I am able to meet within a reasonable distance for pick up.

Rubys are a great choice for someone that wants nice Scarlet colors but don't want the bossy attitude of a Scarlet. They are 1/2 Green Wing. Green Wings are big, gentle birds that just love attention and could cuddle for hours! They're by far one of the sweetest species of macaws. Rubys are also 1/2 Scarlet Macaw. Scarlets can make great pets, but are known for their bossy attitudes. If you stay calm assertive with them, they stay awesome birds! Typically with Rubys they tend to keep the gentler personality of the Green Wing. Scarlet Macaws are smart, beautiful creatures! They're active but not as hyper active as B&Gs can be.
